On the southern slope of La Garranxa ravine in the foothills of El Mojón mountain range, northeast of Porrera. The vines are surrounded by leafy woods that give their name to the estate.

The estate has a 0.5 ha parcel with vines planted in 1910. The rest of the plantation dates from 2003 and 2005.

Except for the parcel of old vines, terraces with one or two rows of vines along the steep hillside.

Carboniferous slate.
Microclimate
Les Foreses has a fresh climate, thanks to its altitude, orientation and surroundings. The vines are exposed to extremes of temperature that delay ripening of the grapes.
Varieties
Garnacha (Grenache) and Cariñena (Carignan, known here as Samsó) are the main varieties, along with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and some Viognier.
